haiz.. kinda downcast to get a C for my first gek1006 test.. :( I've spent a lot of effort in it.. and it accounts for as high as 20% for my total marks! after spending time with God, I realise that this 20% could be a test from God in Honesty and security in Christ. Sometimes I find it hard to tell people the truth about my grades cause I'm afraid that people will judge. but God assure me not to be scared of man but Him. rather to be righteous before God than to be acceptable by people. Unlike the past, now I can freely tell people like chengteng and wenmin that I got a C for this test, is really a breakthrough for me! recently met up jiajia for shepherding.. she said she sees me as a pillar of support for the lg, something that I never knew.. actually posted something similar around 1 year ago, in 2012.. how scared I was to let my parents know that I'm a Christian due to persecution. Whoa! the best sem I spent with God. Haha! I think every sem God will never fails to give me a breakthrough and something new to try.. Take up the role as a shepherd and exam HQ praise lead. a very short camp but impacted me quite a lot! was quite down on day 1 when my mum and sis are angry with me for not holding joss sticks The night games all the way till 3am seems to exacerbate my emotions.. but thank God I have supportive LG to bring me through this, and an understanding sheep to be a listening ear and prayed for me. Some take-away from the camp.. 1) Relationship with God is not completely active as God is taking initiative as well and it is not completely passive as well! True Christianity is about how much we obey, not how much we know.. When we serve, is not about we shine, but is about He shines. God ask us to serve people is not about doing it super zai, when u avoid, we push away the trust God has in us. Recently met up with Liwei for our third shepherding. Indeed, after refreshing her, I felt refreshed as well. As im sharing with her the importance of seeking you. I was reminded of how precious your presence is to me.. Your presence allows me to hang on for the rest of the day. Your presence is sufficient for me. JiaJia save up food for me during sub d even though I didn't ask her to. She come and asked if I'm ok whenever I look down... She handmade me a pencil case during my birthday She trust in me, encourage me when I felt inadequate in serving. She send me random pictures to ask me to jiayou for exams. She always answer my queries and bible questions whenever I asked. Whatever problems I faced, she will help immediately and chuck aside her work/studies just for me. At times she even call me up straight just to ask how am I doing.   We are to speak the truth of God, and not to hide it just to please man. but at the same time, it is also important to say it in LOVE. be patient and not aggressive!     My prayer to God, let me be gracious to my family, merciful towards people that hurt me, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love towards your people.             Before I speak, does it build up that person? am I being gracious? always be tender like how Jesus talk to the sinners. Do not be straightforward and be the right influence.

Pastor Jeff shared about how a church/ LG should be loving and encouraging to one another. and I think the community should keep this in mind. I shall be the one to start it! be it even in very very small ways. Need to start praying for Syn yeow, and also for Kester. Hope they will let go of their past, and be joyful..

Defining Chapters #1 insecurities I was extremely rebellious during my secondary school period. I was addicted to gaming, not interested in studies and do things that does not honour my parents (including pointing middle finger at them, don't judge me uh! ) Vulgarities is a norm for me. I started to question myself what is the purpose in life. I was a very unforgiving person, still remember how I threw my friend's textbook away just because I was pissed with her. I never had real joy. #2 A joyful heart My life was transform inside out when my friend brought me to church. I choose take a step of faith to trust in him. I found unconditional love from God which I never believe existed. He is real, he is so so real in  my life. I still remember asking God for help to turn away from my sins, and miraculously I stopped saying vulgarities almost instantly which most people will take a long while to quit this bad habit.  This camp has impacted me so much as compared to last year :) THE CHAPTER OF GLORY AND LEGACY Every life will tells a story, what's yours? One generation later, the legacy of noble human beings are usually forgotten. Only spiritual legacy will last. Thus, is not whether if people remember you, but is if they remember Jesus. Faith takes practice to stand firm when problems come. Don't wait till you "get there" then u start building strong relationship with Christ. Have the voluntarily humility to seek God and need him despite being all well to do.
