Are you proud of me?

I will live to love you,
I will live to bring you praise,
I will live a child in awe of you..

As I became more aware of my sins, flaws and imperfections in the presence of God, I am undone.
I confessed my fear, is that He will turn His face away from me. I desire so much to hear from Him that He is proud of me as His daughter that it gets me when I kept falling. I know in His words that I am righteous because of Jesus's blood shed at the cross. I am now not a sinner but a saint in the making (romans 6, 1 cor6). It awes me to know that nothing I can do or not do can separate me with the love of Christ (romans 8:38). As I looked down in disappointment, finding it hard to even love me, his presence and words gently embraced me. He led me to Matthew 3:17, as He is saying this to Jesus His son, He also meant that for me.

" I am proud of you. You are my daughter, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you (Deu 31:6)

Ahhhh... Only His presence and words can give me the strength and resilience to go around loving and forgiving, even to the hardest person, which to me, is me.

"Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." (Romans 8:30)

Between eternity past in God's predestination, and eternity future in God's glorification, none is lost. No one who is predestined for son-ship fails to be called. And no one who is called fails to be justified. And no on who is justified fails to be glorified. There is an unbreakable steel chain of divine covenant faithfulness.
And so Paul says, being confident that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philip 1;6). He will sustain me to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 cor 1:8-9)
These are the promises of my God who cannot lie. Those who are born again are as secure as God is faithful.

Let me be secure and confident in this as well, to live simply and love purely, like a child, and to know that you are unchanged in your attitudes and actions toward me.
