A restorer of homes
Daddy God, I thank you for all the blessings though I felt so undeserving. I give all of me unto your hands.
It has been months of seeking and trusting your lead. I know if you have called me to do ground work, I will pray over these families. If it is policy work, I will pray for wisdom to devise policies that could restore families.
You know all my strength and weakness. You will equip.
While our bosses and the world might expect more from us, I remember who my Commanding Officer is. Me who is caught up with His work should not be overly engaged or distracted with civilian matters. We do our best not for man's approval, for their appraisal or criticism comes and go like the wind.
I am working for the Lord, who called me out of darkness and into his wonderful light. While we grow in the marketplace, don't ever lose our heart, as all things flows from it.
Gerry, always yield towards a pure heart. May I never lose sight of this.
Everything else on Earth is vapor, nothing else matters but Him, and living in His will is better than life.
Being in this team of policymakers evidently makes me feel small and intimidated, for I know my weaknesses full well. I am not that capable and smart... Yet in you, I know I am more than a conqueror, and I can do all things through You who gives me strength.
You have assured me with Isaiah 58, to rebuild walls and be a restorer of Homes.
You will be with me as I speak, and I will be your mouthpiece.
Isaiah 58
“No, this is the kind of fasting I want:
Free those who are wrongly imprisoned;
lighten the burden of those who work for you.
Let the oppressed go free,
and remove the chains that bind people.
Share your food with the hungry,
and give shelter to the homeless.
Give clothes to those who need them,
and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
“Then your salvation will come like the dawn,
and your wounds will quickly heal.
Your godliness will lead you forward,
and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.
Then when you call, the Lord will answer.
‘Yes, I am here,’ he will quickly reply.
“Remove the heavy yoke of oppression.
Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors!
Feed the hungry,
and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
The Lord will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring.
Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities.
Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls
and a restorer of homes."
Keep my heart pure..
